Tutors Communicate with the teacher regarding strategies, materials, clarifications, and questions
Communicate with guardians (when appropriate), so that everyone is on the same page.
Communicate with the student to know what skills they need help with.
Students Come prepared to learn
Bring the necessary learning materials
Have prepared and specific questions on the skill they are working on
Maintain an open mind
Bring a positive attitude
Students may get learning strategies and ideas from tutors, but it is the student's responsibility to learn.

PEER TUTORING GUIDELINES
The School-day Peer Tutoring Program will run Mondays - Fridays on any regular student attendance day.
Peer tutoring will run 4th - 7th periods, and peer tutors and referred students will attend for the full period. Students are encouraged to bring their lunch.
All students are referred for peer tutoring by their teachers or student services staff in collaboration with teachers.
Staff members who refer students will provide a pass with the date(s), period, location, and skill needing help.
The Peer-Tutor must complete this pass.
The student will return the pass to Frau Anna for Attendance.

GERMAN GUIDED STUDY
These are German National Honor Society Students, as well as upper level German students. I trust them and believe in their ability to help you.
They are glad to help you with your studies. These students, like yourself, are very busy...please be respectful of their time!
It is possible to make weekend appointments with some of the tutors, please contact the student directly to make arrangements. You must pre-arrange a place to meet, which must be accepted by BOTH sets of parents/guardians!
