What is Excellence in DeutschKlub?
Our administration asked us this question. The Klub decided the following defines excellence...in our Klub:
Excellence in DeutschKlub means to learn about, teach about and engage in the German Culture and language.
A DeutschKlub student tries their best to promote this excellence through character and education.
DEUTSCHKLUB LEADERSHIP POSITIONS
All officers report directly to Frau Anna or Frau Allen.
Officers MUST...
-be in German 3, or 4
-be responsible and committed in their position, German, and the Klub!
-demonstrate and promote positive teamwork!
-do what is best for the students and program!
-delegate responsibilities & follow through on obligations!
-assist in their replacement!
WAS IST DEUTSCHKLUB?
DeutschKlub is a student run, teacher sponsored club.
Students participating in DeutschKlub must:
- complete all required forms and payments
- attend a minimum of 9 meetings
- be in good academic standing
- demonstrate good character
- be open to learning about German speaking countries, their language, and their culture.
Students participating in DeutschKlub will use German, to the best of their abilities, to actively participate in club, school, and cultural events.
DeutschKlub is an extension to the German language learning in the classroom and includes German competitions, field trips, social activities, and fund raising events.
Who can participate in German Club?
Any student who is interested! You do NOT have to be in a German class to participate!!!!
